It is set on the beautiful bay of the Jonio Sea. The location is great for underwater fishing.
Jonio camping is furnished with bungalows, mobile homes and a really nice restaurant with an astonishing view of the bay. Courses in sailing, windsurfing, padding and diving are available too.
Jonio Camping is situated in a beautiful location. It is surrounded by the typical landscape of lava rocks with a private beach on the sea-side of Catania, the legendary coast of Cyclops, going from Ulisse harbour to Faraglioni of Polifemo in the typical town of Acitrezza.
Jonio camping the camp is open all the year round and has 140-beds available in bungalows, mobile homes, furnished caravans and small houses.
On the map, Jonio Camping is situated in the quiet district of Ognina with excellent access to the bus system, n. 534, 535, 448 to Catania down town. The camping offers a selection of accommodation: B&B, Full board, Week-end, etc…
The dining room is made of typical Sicilian stuff that make it feel warm and welcoming.
All our recipes are prepared with Sicilian ingredients.They are very simple and healthy recipes representing the Sicilian cooking tradition and its products.
Fruits and vegetables with pasta and fish are the main dishes of the Sicilian gastronomy.
We offer to our guests very pleasant evenings in the restaurant with delicious dishes, concerts and dancing nightfall.
The restaurant is located in a quiet area near the sea and the city center. Last New Year’s Eve at the restaurant has been a success. Check always our hot deals.
Since 2003 there are several new facilities available including great quality shower and toilet blocks.

Our amenities block includes toilets with free hot water and 24 h working showers.

Women toilets are provided with a washbasin and the baby-changing unit too.
In the camping is available a pay-service laundry room with ironing facilities.

Also on site is a Cafè and a minimarket.
