Flaminio Camping Village

Opening season from 02/05/2012 to 31/12/2012 ROMA (RM) - [ Lazio ] Would you like to camp close to Rome's city centre? With its certified four star rating and its national and internationally recognised acclaimed standards, the Camping Flaminio campsite next to the Vejo Park was designed for families, groups and single people wanting to spend their outdoor precious time in peace and tranquillity.

Furthermore there are new service areas such as; info point, internet point, new camper service with water and electrical connections and 5 star relax area with completely renovated dip pools for the big and small. This includes an airport shuttle service.

Camping Flaminio is also comprised of a residential village with rooms and apartments, which you are most welcome to explore!

Restaurant
The "Ottavo colle" restaurant is recognised for its heavenly dishes; here Chef Mario and his expert staff will flambé and dazzle you with their International cuisine and special dishes.
You will find the restaurant menu along with the half board options in the rates page.

Bar
The bar/cafe serves breakfast between 7 and 10, snacks and salads the entire day, equipped with a minimarket; get your freshly baked bread every morning!
Furthermore on hot summer days nothing beats an ice cold beer with one of our freshly baked pizza’s straight out of a wood burning oven, whilst laying back on a deck chair and watching the maxi screen on the terrace.

Pool
After a long hot day’s sightseeing through the centre of Rome come back to the village and take a dip in our pool, equipped with bed and deck chairs and a cocktail bar on the terrace.

Info Point
During the summers our info point will provide you with the provisions to reach the centre of Rome like map and public transport tickets along with useful information like museums, monuments and shows on the go.

Book a trip on the Tiber river (“battello sul Tevere”) for a splendid tour of Rome and if you like we also have at your disposition organized in house excursions.

Internet Point & Wireless
Inside the Info Point you will find some computer to surf on the Internet; if you prefer 'doing it wireless'enjoy our brand new (and cheap!) wireless connection (price is 2 euro for 3 days!). Wireless connection now covers almost all rooms, apartments and service area.
Administrative services
Need to send a fax, email, letter, messages, book a taxi to the airport, get picked up at the airport with the private car, rent a car or bike, reserve tours of museums, and naturally at your disposal throughout your stay.
Our reception is open 24/7 and also contains safe-deposit boxes for your peace of mind, furthermore it contains a luggage depot.

Bathrooms and laundry
The sanitary facilities are of 5 star standards this means it is also equipped for the disable.
Ladies, after a long day's sightseeing and touring through the streets of the Roman Capital, take a long relaxing shower and pamper yourselves in the newly renovated bathrooms fitted with individual mirrors and stools and get ready for your evening out, the kids instead have a nursery with children's size sanitary services.
The campsite area is also provided with a laundry area with washing machines and driers.

A completely equipped camper service area is also available for free.
